The Alcázar of Córdoba is the greatest representation of the Christian period in the city; its origins date back to 1328 and it was commissioned by King Alfonso XI. The Cathedral of Córdoba is located in the central part and its construction dates back to the 16th century. The mix of Renaissance domes with Gothic vaults, along with a truly impressive choir stall, is an essential part of the visit.

The standout feature of the Alcázar is its gardens, divided into three levels: upper, middle and lower garden. Blooming with a great variety of native species, it is a paradise for the senses.
